Rugby tRAINing.

It looked like today was going to put the RAIN into rugby tRAINing, but fortunately the rain stopped when we arrived and other than a couple of very brief little showers it stayed dry.  CyclopsJnr enjoyed training, where they did some good work dissecting some practice games as well as the usual skills and running around.  He doesn't look nearly as bedraggled as I expected, although the washing machine will had some work to do thanks to the mud...

It was a bit muddy and cold, so CyclopsJnr had a bath when we got back, then after lunch we just hung out for a bit. 

Later CyclopsJnr went to Parkour.  This time he went to the "8-12 session" instead of the "8 and under" one he's been to before.  This meant he was one of the littler kids (instead of one of the biggest) and the session was more on skills (some of which he wasn't tall enough for) than games.  He enjoyed himself.  I checked with the coach on the way out and he said Arran was welcome at either session, and that he had "smashed it" today and definitely wasn't out of his depth.  So we'll just see which he fancies and which is convenient next time.
