Between fen and mountains

A dusting of snow

Some overnight rain fell as snow yesterday but it has more or less disappeared during the day. We scored a first ringing today apparently. Our tower captain has recorded it on Bellboard, the worldwide bible of successful rings. We rang 60 on 3rds, a well known call change sequence popular in Devon. We are sure this is the first time this method has been rung in France by a resident band. In the afternoon I played some tennis for the last time with J. and P. before they return to the UK.

Apparently it is another milestone today. They seem to come round like London buses at the moment. Only a couple of weeks ago it was 4000 and now it is 11 years. Thanks to all those who drop by. It does get more difficult to find something that is blip worthy but I shall keep looking.
