We Enjoyed The Evening Anyway.

I had a busy morning, starting at the yard, mucking out and working Jack with long reins. It was a bit damp and rainy but not cold. By the time I got home as I was still wet, I took Dylan straight out for a walk.

We drove up to Cleavening Coomb and I walked along a new (to me) footpath and carried on along a quiet road in a loop back to the car. It was nice to find a new walk and Dylan seemed to enjoy it too.

This evening we had tickets for a fireworks event with friends at a local house recently converted to a wedding venue and restaurant. It was a lovely venue and we were early to arrive so first in the queue for food and delicious mulled cider. We had a nice evening waiting for the fireworks, it wasn’t cold and we had a good place to sit and chat…but oh dear…the fireworks display was dreadful, I had my proper camera with me, but didn’t get a chance to get a decent shot, this was the best I got from my phone. Luckily we were able to laugh about it and enjoyed the evening anyway.
