Framlingham Castle

We had a hearty breakfast at our favourite place in Framlingham and then went for a walk around the castle. This is the one immortalised in the Ed sheeran song castle on the hill. The walls are made from flint stones embedded in mortar so a very interesting structure. From the castle you could look out onto the great mere. There was a run on, starting from the castle but the weather was only going to get worse so I really felt for them.

Drove home through the wind and rain, the heavens really did open have thoroughly enjoyed our short time away
