At the Archies

The Archibald Prize 2022 for portraiture is currently on display at the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Katoomba. It's a great way to see the finalists without the crazy crowds (or prices) at the Art Gallery of NSW.

There is however a photographic downside to few people viewing, as the mad man with the camera becomes much more noticeable!
Experimenting here with the recently acquired ultra wide angle Leica lens - not something I'd normally choose for art gallery photography.
