The View at the End of the Walk.......

We took advantage of the stunning weather and went for a walk from Ilam along Dovedale and back via the steep climb from Ilam Rock.

As were near the end of the walk a farmer appeared on his quad bike, including 5 border collies, and produced some feed. A handful of sheep came running and stood in a neat line to eat - except one! (see extra)

We stopped off at the National Trust cafe for their famous curried cauliflower pasties. There was only one left, I was the lucky one.
