bike, eat, bike
it was only 6 degrees when we left for a bike ride to Genk, Belgium. The first ride where I wore gloves almost all the time. Fortunately, it was less cold on a terrace around lunchtime in Genk. (on the blip you'll see the 'croque Madame' Bert ordered)
It was a beautiful drive to Genk. Very rural.
We drove back home via Maasmechelen, among others. Because of the winter time there is only one ferry on the Maas river and only a few bridges for crossing.
In the extra a photo of a road chapel. I have seen at least 6 on the way to Genk. This one stood on the plain after we got passed Maastricht.
