Panel 38 - Border Reivers and Kinmont Willie 1596

Smailholm Stitchers' panel on the Border Reivers and Kinmont Willie 1596 is finished and will be handed in tomorrow, 8th May. We are very much looking forward to seeing it in September with all the other completed works as they become the Great Tapestry of Scotland. It's been such a pleasure, and so much more than just a bit of sewing. We've learned a lot of history and had a good deal of fun in our hugely helpful and focussed team of 12. Now we just have to finish our Modern Kilt panel!
