Still life with gardening gloves
Seems to be almost the only shot I took today.
About this time I like to 'autumnclean' the greenhouse, turfing out the withered plants, tipping their compost on to the garden and checking for snails which have a habit of secreting themselves in crevices.
A few wizened cucumbers and green tomatoes and the assortment of items I used to secure the plants remain, plus I found a bag of rabbit droppings that hadn't made it into the compost bins. I like the way the loops echo the gesture of the gloves.
Extra: 101 uses for old office furniture? It will make useful staging for next year's seedlings.
