Bubbles

Delighted to welcome more visitors this weekend: a niece and her fiancé up from London for a wedding. Accordingly, in what is becoming a Friday ritual a tidy up and clean was undertaken, to a more thorough degree than normal!

Then I set about insulating the greenhouse. Monty Don on Gardeners World the other week recommended lining a greenhouse with bubble wrap. A quick internet purchase meant delivery of a large roll.

The advice is to spray water on the glass and lay the cut-to-size wrap onto it. It seems to work well. The roof glass will need more fixings but hopefully it will mean that if heating is required we can keep it to the minimum this winter.

I nearly got half the greenhouse done before the light fell. I rested the desire to pop the bubbles!
