Going Cheep!

The painters were finishing off the back of the house and the chimneys today. That means the scaffolding can come down now which is good. Can't say I like having it up.
Ali's day off today so I went round about noon and after Josie had had her lunch we headed off to Morningside for lunch for ourselves.
We ended up in the Telve cafe in Morningside. Josie was on great form and didn't stop smiling from the moment we arrived. The staff were wonderful with her everyone of them stopped to talk to her and one young waiter brought this rocking chicken ornament from their display shelf, to amuse her.(we kept it out of her reach though not really child safe but a lot of fun.)
We wandered up and down Morningside Road and into Cook and Jojo Maman Bebe. We managed to get out without spending too much money, lol.
Back home Colin and I finally got around to eating the chicken casserole I made earlier this week. It was good!
We watched the second episode of series 1 of Capture this evening. It was recommended to us recently. We're enjoying it very much so far and there's a second series too!
Weekend again, can't believe it!
