Milton Keynes

Still one of the strangest places I've ever been to/through. From the bus I could gaze down on to a subterranean level where there was a vibrant street market and real humans. On the bus level there was an endless grid of tarmac connected by roundabouts. I still don't understand how (or even whether it is possible) to manoeuvre from one level to the other. On the odd occasion I've tried I've failed.

I'm glad I didn't have to get off the bus and was continuing to Bedford.
