Sarcococca confusa

This  morning I noticed how stunning the  berries  on my Sarcocca (Sweet Box) are looking. The plant is in a pot on the doorstep and, shortly, will be producing small, white, very sweetly scented flowers.

This  afternoon I visited a local  care home. I liked it, and I think it would  be suitable for my  Mother, so I have  asked for  her name to be put on the waiting list. I made enquiries about two other local care homes, and  will visit them next  week.  
A long phone conversation with my sister following  visits to our Mother and her, by our  mother 's GP and also the manager of the care agency. Later, I phoned our sister in Australia to update her on the fast moving  situation.
