No, really in Scotland? Oh yes...

It must be really hot here today.

Imagine my surprise on my return from a lunch time stroll in the pleasant sunshine that I came across this. Ok so today it has been alright but I have to say it is not as hot as the previous times I have encountered lizards in a variety of continental locations.

Unfortunately, the poor creature was actually dead although maybe he died from the shock of some warmth as I was fairly sure I saw a lizard skin jacket several inches from here.
