It's very alive!

Mid May I thought this tree was dying. I watched it all summer and today finally blipped it again. It is very alive. So good to see.

It rained almost all day. The rain stopped a little after 4 p.m. and I took my chance. Not much time was left before dark when I left the house.
I'm still having trouble adjusting to the early sunset after setting the clocks back last weekend. Sunset was at 17:04 today.
Only seven weeks until the days will be getting longer again, but it will be a long and dark seven weeks.
I said it before: Very thankful - another benefit of working-from-home-days - at least a little chance to go for a walk after work - saves me about an hour of commuting time.

Last Friday I was out walking in a sleeveless shirt, sitting on a bench for some time. Today I grabbed a winter jacket and, after feeling cold all day, finally started to feel more comfortable and warm.
