The Boat House

Into Stratford today for a wander round and hopefully a few opportunities for a blip photo (forgot that it was Flower Friday though).

This view is familiar to one or two of you but for those who don't know it then it's the view from the pedestrian only Tramway Bridge looking across to the Boathouse alongside the River Avon with the Swan's Nest hotel in the background.

A pleasant dry day with plenty of sunshine through the morning but less in the afternoon. A think a little cooler than it has been but not cold.

I had parked in the Waitrose car park at the Rosebird Centre and then walked into town on the footpath running alongside the Seven Meadows Road. On the way back I walked the Tramway route and stopped for some provisions at the supermarket before heading home.

We have visitors tonight who have been down to Chippenham and then Malvern, they might be hungry, we'll see.

Have a really good weekend everyone although I'm not sure that the weather will be that good, certainly for the southern half of the country.

I'm off downstairs to sit in front of the fire and await our visitors who should be here by 7.30.
