The Rattage

Just seemed to run out of time today. One deadline after another playing catch up. Then coaching tonight added to the time loss (from a blip point of view). Opportunity knocked at around 9pm when I had a 5 minute window when people were leaving the track. But it was not to be. Camera battery was flat. How unprofessional can an amateur get? Not happy...again.

So an emergency blip calls for the iPhone. The Rattage has escaped the blip treatment in the past, but not tonight.

Last night the ABC showed part 1 of the documentary Know Thy Enemy featuring Anna Meares. Some of the filming took place at the Superdrome as one would expect, and I took this blip of filming that was done under the track.
The track is seen many times throughout and some of the interviews are done in the track centre and in my office. For those of us close to athletes and the events highlighted it gets a bit emotional at times. Part two next week and I am looking forward to seeing it.
