Sunshine after rain, swans

A sunny day, all day, after yesterday's wet. 

Out in the afternoon through Stockbridge to Inverleith. The 5 cygnets for the season are still mottled. Walked up to the sportsfields. Watched a dog tussling with a stick at least three times longer than it, gleefully wresting it out of the grass and balancing it to run. Through the Botanics, where we watch a tree being moved by tractor. The installations for the illuminations are going in - a large petal construction in extra.
