Last on the Line

Almost.

On a bright, sunny morning, it looked like a good day for a train ride.  I rarely travel as a passenger these days so it's nice to take a ride occasionally when I can just soak up the scenery .... and doze off to the gentle motion of the train if I feel like it!   The weather somewhat altered by the afternoon, we travelled on the last train of the day under grey skies and some rain too.  Much colder, the weather conditions making for a more steamy steam train.  Mum, Jamie and Tilda made up the party and we all enjoyed the break in the warm cafe with tea and cake - mostly.   The railway's daily running ends on Sunday so this was one of the last trains of the season

Otherwise a day of admin, a meeting and ... more admin this evening.  C and I took the Megs out as the gloom turned to darkness, the dogs enjoyed their run but we needed to keep moving now the weather has got colder.
