Hiding in the Shadows...

Ha! This Bluejay really thought I couldn't see it...I am not fond of Bluejays, as they are mean to the smaller birds! They are so big and make the weirdest "electronic" sounds.....how could I miss them?

This bugger had chased all the tiny Goldfinches away. I initially looked out the window as I heard a hawk. I thought that rather strange, as the hawk sounded very near. When I looked up information about Blujays, I read (Wikipedia) that they sometimes imitate hawks. Interesting....

I have been missing a lot here on Blip as we have been so busy. Then, two evenings ago, I washed the snowmobiles off as we "summerized" them to put away. While outside, I got a mosquito bite near my left ankle that is giving me fits. I am what I consider "mildly" allergic to mosquitoes. If bitten too many times, I will have an allergic reaction, but this bite has the area red and swollen and is bothering me. I so dislike mosquitoes!!!!
