Not so great at school.

I was really tired this morning, good job it's Friday tomorrow :-)
Shopped, emailed, did a pharmacy run.  Managed to get my flu jab which was a good thing.  Fetched Ben from school but he had not had a great day, he'd been upset that he wanted food tech to be sooner than it was and had broken his glasses, again :-( Worse still I was told about it by the implausibly upbeat teaching assistant who has a history of glossing over the bad points of Ben's day, so I imagine it was worse than she said..  He was then upset at home when we were discussing it.  Sigh.
The photo is a different view of a second seed pod on the magnolia, am I getting boring with it yet?!? It's just so weirdly alien, I find it really compelling.. and we were very lucky with the sunshine today, particularly as I was reading there was extreme rain and flooding around the country.
