Sunbathing

Another trip to the park & pond after work this morning. I think it may have been even warmer than yesterday as I could feel the reflection of the sun on the water burning my face. I sat for a while & watched this swan floating on the water, intermittently closing it's eyes and almost dosing in the warmth of the sun.

I finished a stretch of five twelve hour night shifts this morning. With the heady mix of sunshine, warmth & sleep deprivation I was quite giddy on the way home, singing along to the radio & feeling on top of the world. I'm sure other drivers must've thought me quite mad!
