Bike withdrawal

I must have known something was up yesterday with my 'forboding bubbles'. I was up in the night to settle Miles when I came over all hot, I thought I was going to throw up and I fainted!! Apparently it was quite dramatic - Gina happened to look at me just as I went and I took out our radiator on the way down, smashing my head on the corner of the cot. I came round quickly, but Gina made me sit up for half an hour in case I was concussed. I wasn't (I was just knackered!).

I woke up feeling terrible this morning, butI had some unavoidable duties in work, so I went in for a half day. There was no way I was riding in the way I was feeling, so I was on the dreaded public transport. On my way back to the station to get home, I longingly looked at these city bikes... Hardly my Schwinn, but preferable to the train (but there really was no way...)!
Much like London's 'Boris Bikes', these are located around the city and you pay as you use them (you can drop them between stations). This was obviously a great idea (particularly for tourists), with the slight hitch that in Victoria you need a helmet to ride legally, which makes them somewhat less than user friendly. You can get cheap subsidised helmets from Seven Eleven, but you need to find them!

Anyway, slept all afternoon, feeling a bit better. Vietnamese for dinner and hopefully back to 100% tomorrow
