Lindisfarne

Painted this today from a photo I took back in September when I was on Lindisfarne for the weekend.  The weather was absolutely wonderful then and with the wind and rain raging outside today it was nice to think back to those glorious days. 

More clearing achieved.. going through my desk and finding so much junk that has just been stored in the drawers for years.  Not there now!! I even found some stamps 1st and 2nd class that are ancient but that I believe they have to accept if I post a letter with them.. that might save a few pennies !!
It has become cool enough to feel a little shivery indoors today.. we lit our first fire and watched the Portrait artist of the Year while eating our supper.  Perfect mid week treat.
