Elland Book Swap

A cold, blustery and sunny start to the day. The wind picked up strength this afternoon and then the rain started.

I managed a 6 km run up to Norland Moor and back home this morning. In the breezy conditions I was happy with my time of 36m 08s.

I had cause to go down to Elland early afternoon. I noticed the newly refurbished BT telephone box near Northgate, which has been adopted by the Elland Round Table. It is now a free community asset for the swapping of books!

I took the previous photograph on 26 May at the beginning of the refurbishment (after all the broken glass panels had been removed).
