Great Gunnera....before

Gunnera is an amazing plant that dies back to nothing in the winter then after a deceptive start in spring, becomes a giant of epic proportions.

This is the "before" picture as the first leaves start to open. This fine specimen has its roots in the source of the stream that runs through Sara's garden then becomes the river Alun running through St Davids.
