Drove into the mountains at night to go look at the sky.  No telescope, and only my little travel camera.  No tripod either, so had to rest the camera on it's back on a towel on top of the car, and use the self-timer to trigger a shot.  Not gonna win astrophotographer of the year...  But it's a reminder of what it was like.  Incredible night sky.
