Walking in the rain

It doesn’t get much wetter than today. Amazingly no one called to cancel the Glasgow Ramblers canal walk from Bowling to the city centre. By the time we reached Clydebank it was torrential, sensibly several walkers opted to catch the train home and rest of us had our picnic lunch inside the shopping centre. 
We walked on and at Anniesland two more opted for an exit. Three of us determined to continue, just beyond Stockingfield Junction the sun came out and we dried out to some extent. 
This was undone when we had to walk through flooding to get to the bus station from Cowcaddens. 
Spirits were high and judging from the emails and texts this evening everyone seems to have thoroughly enjoyed it.
