River Brathay

This was early, before 8 'o' clock, just a few minutes later it started raining and hasn't stopped yet.  For those who have visited LPH it was definitely a Threlkeld day!

Despite the rain I did go back with a longer lens to see if the owl was still there from yesterday's post.  My effort is in extras.

We needed an indoor pursuit to keep us occupied, so we went to Rheged to see an exhibition from a local photographer called Forty Farms.  Some lovely images of farm life from Cumbria, there is also a book which goes into more detail of the challenges for farmers in this beautiful landscape.  Well worth a visit if you are in the area before the end of the year.
