Mary Anning
We braved the gale force winds and had a lovely, bracing time in Lyme Regis, culminating in lunch at the Cobb Arms. My highlight was seeing the Mary Anning statue that was unveiled by Prof Alice Roberts in May this year. Now back at the cabin, I’m going to read Tom Sharpe’s biography of said fossilist, which I treated myself to from a bookshop in Lyme.
