Rain due so I went up to the roof to check the drains.  They need clearing, the conifers have just finished their big needle drop, I took pix and sent to the board.  Also found some really beautiful cones, a couple of them are huge, so I brought those down with me to put by the front door.  Always like the view from up here. 

The rain did arrive, and it was decent, but didn't last all day as forecast.  Chilly and windy for the rest of it.  Rather nice, made me think I might actually want to bake some cookies or something.
