A sunny wildflower walk before the storm

Golden balsam root flowers are in bloom all over the hills, so getting a walk in was essential today--and then the black clouds ominously approached. I got photos in the sun and made it home 2 minutes before the thunder roared, lightning lit up the hills, the wind whipped trees and bushes into a frenzy and the rain drenched everything.
