Splendid

It was a splendid day. We had record-breaking temperatures of 31+ degrees Celsius. A breeze was flowing through the house as the painters worked. I was able to make significant progress with back-yard clean-up. Then, in the afternoon I went with my daughter for a walk with our grandson. Towards sundown I treated myself to a hot fudge sundae, a perfect way to end this splendid day. (I thought using the blue filter added coolness to this ice cream.)
