Today I've given you a quick shot from a bit underneath the flower, so you can see the withering sepals. I am quite surprised they are still there actually, but you can see that as the umbel is spreading outwards, the sepals are getting pushed down gradually. And if you look carefully, you can see a sprig of lavendar on the right trying to get it's fifteen minutes of fame!

Looking forward to a nice weekend - I've got my neice and nephew coming to stay for a couple of days and as we haven't seen them for a while, it will be good to catch up. Hopefully, the traffic jam that is holding up the coach will be over soon and we can go and pick them up!
