Newly Mowed Hay

My bike ride home kicked my a$$. The winds, blowing out of the northeast the last few days, came straight into my face out of the southwest. Those stretches I pedaled at 20-25 mph last week, I struggled at 10 mph today. But it gave me more time to check out my surroundings. In tracking down the prompt today, "New", the newly mowed hay worked out ok. I wish there were a way to send the smells to you - aromas of mid summer, the hay and fresh grass.
