Chance of rain 20% ...

A bracing walk up to Cherhill White Horse. At one point I remember pointing out how the clouds looked like a giant curtain. Probably the wettest I have been since my motorbiking years. First there was the gust front followed by horizontal hail as we left the ridge. So windy it was hard to stand up. Didn't think weather could be so painful. Then the torrential rain. I could feel my hiking boots filling with rain water as we trudged back towards the car. Because we're parked nearby it was great fun and we couldn't stop laughing all the way down.
