If I Knew You Were Comin'..........

Busy in the kitchen again, two offerings for your delight. 
The Christmas cake, won't see the light of Blip until it is decorated nearer to the date in question.
The very deep filled apple tart was made with three different types of foraged apples with a sprinkling of nutmeg and homemade pastry. Just the right amount of sugar used so the apples retained a slight sharpness. Eaten with double cream.
I do know that self-praise is no praise, but it is an exceedingly good apple tart. Best I have made? Yes. Best I have ever tasted? Quite possibly.
