Redwing

Didn’t go out to look for Redwings today, so they came to see where I’d got to. Actually, a hawthorn in a garden further up the road has been playing host to a number of Blackbirds for the last week or so, and when it was foggy a few days ago, I thought I could see Redwings there too, but it was impossible to be certain. Today was clearer, and with my lens fully extended and some craning of the neck, I managed this shot.
