downpour

We went into Leicester today for a couple of birthday presents. Not many around and we managed to get just what we wanted. On the way back to the park’n’ride bus though there was a colossal downpour of rain - it was bouncing off the pavement. We took shelter in a shop doorway and this is the view across the road. I don’t think this picture shows just how heavy the rain was. We were soaked along with everyone else. And the Council, for reasons only they know, have taken down both of the park’n’ride bus shelters….
