Surprise

I was a volunteer at our local hospice shop for 23 years, covid/life bringing to an end. We had an almost new chair to donate and yesterday was pick up day. First surprise was to see Mervyn the lovely van driver who still does a few hours, I have known him for most of the years. After putting chair in van he told me to wait by the door and came back with these lovely flowers. He said that as I just finished without “a do” the flowers were to make up, a lovely surprise.
