Just a few people about

So what to do when they are turning the electricity off - have a quick cup of coffee at 5 to 9 and then go out for the day.

We had breakfast in Lakeland (only buying a couple of ‘useful’ things), then wandered through the Lakes loving that most visitors have gone home. Then to Grasmere - perused jigsaws at the wonderful home of thousands of puzzles, Barney’s Newsbox - jigsaws were purchased. A few doors along to the lovely Sam Read Bookshop (blip) - a couple of books were bought. Gordon bought gingerbread and went for a walk.

Home via Uldale for tea/hot chocolate and cake. Sadly the weather was not with us, but it was still good to see all the Autumn colours and to be able to wander with very few people around.
