Expanse

Just the sort of walk l had hoped for this morning.
A walk of about five minutes down to the sea from The Bay where we are staying and onto the beach.
Those big wide open spaces l remember were  just as good all these years later since l was last here.
We walked into Filey and up into the town centre where we found a lovely dog friendly cafe, excellent coffee and homemade scones and cakes.
Then back along the beach, weather was beautiful, still warm even in the wind.
Was just over seven miles in all,  Ronnie is sleeping it off and l was pleased to get my steps in as yesterday l hardly walked at all.
