Conan Doyle Medical Centre

I had my Covid and Flu injections at Conan Doyle Medical Centre which is hidden away behind Cameron Toll Shopping Centre.  I assume the name of 'Conan Doyle' was given as, when a child, he lived with Mary Burton at Liberton Bank House, the rooftop and chimneys of which you can just see through the tree.  

Mary Burton, a tenant of Liberton House for more than 50 years, was a trailblazing educational and social reformer and a leading advocate of women's suffrage.  

Liberton Bank House is an 18th century house from the days before Liberton became part of the city of Edinburgh.  It also survives as a relic of the ancient town of Nether Liberton.
