Neighbourhood watch

A little work at home this morning, an hour in at work then back home to nail the first week of planning.  Fingers crossed for no errors - they'll rear their heads at the most stressful times if there are any, but I think I've managed to arrange things to incorporate some flexibility at times when we'll need it most.  Time will tell.

Chimney sweep came this afternoon - it seems he's really under he pump at the moment so I'm pleased to be able to tick that job off the list.

A little potter in the garden this evening (loving the lighter evenings) assisted by Minnie who seemed very pleased that I'd come out to play with her!  She's such a wee character.  This local wasn't quite so enamoured about Minnie's presence and was sounding a very loud and persistent warning around to other neighbourhood birds.  

Off now to settle in to a few hours of cricket viewing - NZ v England.........there's quite a bit of 'history' that needs righting and this would be a great way to begin.....
