Chained

Puzzle at the Portrait Gallery. This has been here for years, and it's enigmatic. Not clear if it is art, or functional. At the front of the building just to the left of the access ramp. 

Out in the early afternoon. Down Leith Walk, where tramworks are proceeding. Along Jane Street, passing the brewery, to Bonnington then back by the Water of Leith. Sheltered and mild by the water, stronger wind higher up in the town.
