Spooky...

Richard and I looked after Luca for the day as usual on a Monday. Then we picked Frieda up from preschool at 3, and joined Ruth and Eben. Eben and Richard made creepy "eyeballs" with hard boiled eggs and olives, while Luca and Frieda played upstairs (only occasional refereeing needed). Ruth made some excellent "mummies" with vegan sausages wrapped in pastry strips.
Once Jack and Josh arrived, Richard and I left them to it. I've caught the cold that Richard and Ruth both had last week, and was ready to get home for a rest.

Otherwise... amid so much grim UK news I take some comfort from the defeat of the appalling Bolsanaro in Brazil. Perhaps a glimmer of hope for climate protection measures, and for social justice in Brazil.
