The new tradition

This Wentworth puzzle was given to me for my birthday in 2019 - when I had just discovered these  intriguing puzzles. The subject is relevant -Hallowe’en - so I now make the puzzle each year around my birthday.  Started it this afternoon - will finish it tomorrow. (See extra for finished puzzle added later)
