New Venue

After two years of absence, the Malcom Sargent Hospitals Choir has reformed to perform their Christmas Carol Concert. The first rehearsal was held tonight at a new venue, Erskine Stewart's Melville School, still under the 'baton' of Libby Crabtree.

The concert, on Wednesday 14th December, also has a new venue, not the Usher Hall but the Dean (formerly Dean Parish Church) and, due to the more limited space, the choir is also reduced, with a maximum of 60 singers. Fortunately both Mr Flum and I were allocated a place and it was so good tonight to see so many familiar faces from previous years of singing together.
