Zoo fun

So today I had work in the morning. I wasn't really looking forward to it but decided to make the best out of a potentially boring morning by inviting my friend and her daughter with us to the zoo.

They said yes and the road trip commenced. Alec, the boy in the wheelchair loved the animals and having his face painted. Evie wasn't so sure at first but soon warmed to the animals, particularly the monkeys.

Once I finished work Dan and I went to my parents for a BBQ. It was here we met my brothers new girlfriend for the first time. Luckily she's lovely and we all had a fantastic evening.

An amazing day had by all.
