Three little gulls on the loch are we

I missed the best part of the day for photo taking ….. I should have gone to the loch first when the sun was shining but I went shopping first and by the time I got back to the car the weather had turned dull and damp.

Plenty of activity on the water ……. squabbling Mallards, quite a large group of male and female Tufted Ducks, a pair of Goosanders, some Little Grebes, two Lapwings, three Canada Geese, the Swan family, a dozen or so Greylag Geese and more Black-headed Gulls than I could count but as we head towards winter the black heads are turning white.
In the rather dull conditions many of the birds were too far away to get a clear shot.
